This course explores the biochemical reactions of various organic compounds in living organisms―such as proteins, lipids, carbohydrates, and genetic materials―at the molecular level. This course teaches the basic direction of future-oriented animal breeding to cope with malignant diseases by satisfying welfare-type breeding conditions that reduce stress from companion animal, production animals, research animals, wild animals, marine animals and endangered tides.

양질의 풀사료 생산을 위한 재배적지 및 수량예측모델 구축에 필요한 기후, 토양 및 재배관련 데이터의 수집, 가공 및 분석에 대하여 학습을 함. 특히,축산 분야의 Big Data와 IoT 융합 서비스에 대해서 학습과 동시에 IoT 실습을 위한 마이크로 컨트롤러와 센서, 구동장치 제어학습 후 Tinkercad 시뮬레이터를 통해 구현한다.

Data on climate, soil and cultivation must be collected in order to establish a model of plantation and quantity prediction of the grass feed. The collected data shall be processed and analyzed to suit its purpose. Therefore, study related to this is carried out. In particular, it learns about Big data and IoT convergence services in the livestock sector included forage prosuction and implements them through Tinkercard simulator after learning micro controller, sensor, and drive control for IoT practice.

This course addresses the fundamental theories required to enhance productivity and efficiency in the animal industry, based on the principles of animal reproduction, breeding, and genetics. Students will learn the biological mechanisms of animal reproduction and explore the scientific foundations of reproductive technologies―such as artificial insemination, in vitro fertilization, and embryo transfer―along with the principles of reproductive physiology and developmental biotechnology. In addition, the course aims to develop the ability to apply reproductive knowledge and technologies to real-world animal production settings, thereby improving productivity, genetic selection, and reproductive efficiency to generate tangible industrial value.

최근 information technology (IT)은 농업, 공업, 의료업 등 스마트 기술에 활용되고 있다. 현대의 스마트 기술은 업무 자동화 및 실시간 모니터링을 통해 축산 업에서 발생하는 과도한 업무를 대체하고 있으며, 더 나아가 딥러닝 기반의 인공지능을 활용한 정밀 개체 진단 및 관리, 블록체인을 활용한 축산물 생산 및 유통 의 공급망 관리에도 활용된다. 본 강의에서는 스마트 축산 시스템을 활용하기 위한 기초적인 네트워크 시스템과 축산관련 데이터에 대해 소개하고 동물생명과 학과 관련된 텍스트 및 이미지 데이터를 다루는 방법, AR 및 VR 기술을 활용한 기초적인 메타버스(metaverse) 기술에 대하여 소개한다.

Recently, information technology (IT) is applied in smart technologies of various fields such as agriculture, engineering, and medicine. Especially, the smart technologies such as automatic equipments and real-time monitoring system can replace the tedious tasks in livestock, furthermore, this technlogies are utilized in precison diagnosis of domestic animals based on deep learning and artificial intelligence and supply chain management for livestock products. This unit introduces students to fundamental network system and kind of animal science data, handling of text and image dataset regading of anmial science, and metaverse using AR and VR.

환경이 주는 위협과 기회에 체계적으로 대응하기 위해 ISO 14000시리즈 국제표준이 제정되었다. 이는 종말처리의 개념으로 환경문제에 접근하는 것이 아니라 사전오염예방의 개념으로 접근하여 제품으로 인해 발생하는 환경영향을 개선함으로써 기업의 사회적 책임을 제고하는 국제환경 표준이다. 그 중 제품의 전과정 동안 발생하는 환경영향을 정량화하는 도구인 ISO14040 전과정평가(LCA)와 전과정평가 세부 방법론에 대해 학습한다.

This is not for treatment at the end but for prevention of environmental problems caused by manufacturing goods, so that enterprises are able to raises social responsibility. Students will study life cycle assessment in ISO 14040 to quantify environmental evaluation and study detailed methodology to it.
